About robsonshaw
We are a modern firm of solicitors specialising in sexual abuse compensation claims anywhere in England and Wales.
Unlike traditional law firms staffed by paralegals and unqualified secretaries operating rigid office hours, at robsonshaw, you will only deal with a specialist abuse solicitor. Furthermore, we understand you may want to contact us at any time of the day or night. Therefore, you can speak to us whenever you want, be it at a weekend or in the evening, as we operate a 24/7 legal service, 365 days a year.
We are members of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers and are experts in our field. Our solicitors have won hundreds of thousands of pounds in compensation for abuse victims all over the country. We are recognised for our empathetic approach to this sensitive area of law. We will talk you through the legal process and support you from beginning to end.
If you would like to speak direct to an expert abuse solicitor, please call us on 01392 345333, or use your local rate number for a free, confidential, no obligation chat at any time. We know that some victims find it very difficult to discuss their traumatic experiences by telephone, so why not email us on sam@robsonshaw.uk at any time.
We understand that not all victims wish to speak to a female. If you would be happier being represented in your abuse claim by a male expert, Sam is assisted by experienced litigation solicitor Robert Shaw. Robert has over 30 years’ experience as personal injury solicitor and has also run his own legal practice for 25 years. To contact Robert, just email him on robert@robsonshaw.uk.

Investigating your case
In instructing robsonshaw, we will investigate your case, obtain the necessary evidence to ensure your case reaches a successful outcome and if you have not already done so, we will help you to report the matter to the police. In turn, we will work closely with police officers and any other agencies involved in your case ensuring your abuser is brought to justice, thus preventing other victims from suffering the harrowing effects of sexual abuse.
Bringing a claim is an empowering experience and can finally put a victim in control. We understand that no amount of compensation can take away the pain of sexual abuse. We have developed a network of experienced and sympathetic experts to work with us and our abuse victims.
In instructing robsonshaw, we will ensure that during your case, you will have the opportunity to consult with an experienced medical expert on a confidential basis. The expert will consider treatment options and help you through the trauma that sexual abuse can cause. Childhood abuse victims often fail to meet their full potential at school and their education suffers. If your case succeeds, we will help you to gain compensation to enable you to access re-training and specialist counselling to help you to re-build your life.
We also work closely with barristers who specialise in representing sexual abuse victims. Barristers (or Counsel), are often asked to provide advice on specific issues and they will also represent you at Court if your case goes to trial. When your case reaches the appropriate stage, you will be given the opportunity to meet your barrister.
